SUCH A GORGEOUS WEEKEND!!

Evening Everyone!!

What can I say but wow wow wow what a fabulous weekend!!. Mum and Stepdad have been over all weekend, been doing some shopping, eating and drinking, but best of all sitting in the garden catching some serious rays lol !!

In between sitting in the garden, I have also sneaked into my craft room to make a couple of cards ( well, I don't want to burn my delicate white skin do I lol!!)

This little gem is a stamp I got recently from Lili of the Valley, and I think it's just perfect for Fathers day  and also this fine weather we are having at the mo!!

WOOHOO!!, I WON JULIE'S CANDY!!

Evening eveyone!!

This morning I was sitting down having a chat with my Mum, who is over from Spain for a couple of weeks, and she asked to have a look at my blog ( she has not seen it since her last visit! ). Well, I just coudn't believe my eye's, the laptop went up in the air cause I have won Julie's candy!!!. My poor mum thought I won the lottery the way I was carrying on, but I never win anything and I was sooo excited lol!!

BIG THANK YOU TO JULIE!!, the candy looks gorgeous and I cannot wait to receive it!!

Anyway, I made this little card today, It's a whiff of joy stamp, and I think it looks sooo cute!!

DREAMY!!

Hi Everyone!,

Went back to work today after having 5 days off ( I needed that lol), and had a very nice surprise on the DC site!!, images are sooo much bigger, easier to comment on projects and my gallery looks fab!!, bad point all my images that went on prior to the new up-grade are rubbish or no image at all!!, I surpose you cannot have it all lol.

LOVELY DAY IN PARADISE!!

Hi Everyone!!

Well, I have had a lovely day in what I call paradise !!, my craftroom lol. Spent all day in there, no house work was done or cooking, my lovely Steve done it all for me lol and I am starting to feel sooo much better!!

So I was looking through all my lovely stamps and I made a couple of cards, watched create and craft tv and the lovely Sheena Douglass was on, what a lovely treat and an inspiration ( Sheena is so talented and one of my favourite experts!) My first card I made today was a Sugar Nellie stamp "coffee time" and the second card was a Joanna Sheen "wild rose", another very talented lady.

LONG WEEKEND YIPPEE!!

Hi Everyone!!

It's been a very long week ( I know it's only thursday!! ), but it's awful at work and I am absolutley shattered!!. I have now 5 wonderful days off, and I am going to turn my phone off and have a play in my craftroom tomorrow!!. Hopefully the weather will get better again, but I think bank holiday and bad weather goes hand in hand lol!!

Hi everyone!!,

What a beautiful evening!, i've been sitting in the garden after coming home after a very busy week at work and knowing I have two lovely days off !
Mum will be home on Sunday, so a special lunch is on the cards and hopefully will be sitting in the garden with a large glass of rose' and having a good laugh about her long ordeal.

Been mandatory training today, sat through 7 hours of fire, CPR, handwashing and manual handling and my head was buzzing when I came out !!

Well, went back to work today, loads to sort out as always, and those Surgeons can really irritate me lol!!. Never mind, at least I am at home but my poor mum is still stuck in America!!. I see DC are sort of back to normal tonight, and I did manage to upload a card on their site woohoo, so I see how long that lasts, but members are still not rating as much as they use too, what a shame.

BEAUTIFUL DAY!!

Wow, another beautiful day!! spent some time in my garden , grass cut, borders nice and tidy and back to work tomorrow - something had to spoil it!! Never mind, roll on my next week off at the end of May!!

SPRING HAS SPRUNG BUT NOT FOR MUM!!

Hi everyone!!,

Well, the sun is shining for a change and it's getting warmer ( well today anyway!! ), but unfortunatley my poor Mum and Stepdad are stuck in Los Vegas!! ( well, suppose not so bad hee hee hee ). My poor mum went to America for her 60th birthday but she cannot get home because of the volcano ash over in Iceland, ouch, so she might be stuck there for a while ( not very happy as you can imagine!! ). So, while I am waiting to hear from my poor mum I made this little card  of sweet peas - just love this stamp from creative expressions - just so delicate and a pleasure to colour in.

FEELING BETTER!!

Hope everyone is well tonight, and not getting to stressed about the DC site. Feeling a bit better tonight, the site seems to be running faster and I think people are starting to rate the projects!! HYPPII!!

To cheer myself up I got my Sugar Nellie stamps out and chose the lovely Summer ice cream stamp by the designer Elizabeth Bell. I just love her designs, so very cutesy and delicate and they look gorgeous with soft/pastely colours.

TILDA MEETS JOANNA SHEEN!!

Hi everyone!

Well the sun in shining - well in Southend anyway, and the weather is slightly warming up ( if that wind stops blowing!! ), so I thought a get Tilda out and make her all spring like!!. The stamps I chose were Spring Tida and Pink Tilda with heart ( close to my heart, breast awarness - for my lovely nan who passed away with this illness ) meets Joanna Sheen!!. I looked at these stamps and I thought how cute they would look sitting on the flowerpot stamps and extra bits (from the Messy Rabbit range ), and I think it works really well. I love looking at all my stamps to see what else I can do with them, mixing and matching because we all know stamps and other crafty bits are not always cheap!!

Hi all,

My little challenge today was to use spotty paper!!

This challenge was alot easier then my last one, I just love spotty paper!!. The paper is from Funky hands papercraft factory, their brand new CDRom that came out in January, and it's fab!. I have quite a few of their CDRoms, sooo very easy to use and have great colour combo's, so not alot of thinking when putting the papers together.

I also used Daisy and Dandelion stamps for my little challenge, great images to colour in and so cute and adorable, stamps coloured in with my beloved Promarkers ( what would I do without them!! ).
