Hope you are well on this Monday evening and I'm starting to feel slightly better now! Still resting and taken pain killers, but definitely better then last week :o)
So, what did you think of Dancing on Ice??, well I'm on team Vanilla Ice ( ice ice baby lol!), big fan back in the 80's and I even bought his album ( yep very sad I know lol! ) and I thought the girl presenter ( cannot remember her name oops!) was very good too, even tho' she was in the bottom three!!
So onto tonight's card. Well I have tried something new today!, bet you guessing what lol, well I have used NO backing papers at all!. Well I have seen so many other fab crafters do this, so I thought why not??. I actually like this card!, so refreshing not to have to match papers and I think I will definitely do more of the style. So what do you think?? really love your opinion :o)

I really like your card. I think with the embossed background it looks just as effective as background paper. Red and white is such a great colour combo.

WOW this is stunning hun! I love red and white combo as its always very sriking. I adore the MS heart punch, I was hoping for one of these for Christmas, but alas it was not to be LOL. ReplyDeleteThe red and White is fantastic, so nice and although I am like you and love my DP, this is so nice, I must try it. I think that image is adorable, wish i had it for my anniversary, but might go get it for valentines day it's sweet as anything.
Your colouring is always a delight, and finally the heart is GORGEOUS, i have seen it and did think it was stunning. Debbiexx
Fab card Vicky; I love the no backing paper look and it reminds me of the cards I used to make when I first started. Will definitely have to start making more like these. The heart punch is divine - I need one!! Haven't decided who my fave is on Dancing on Ice yet - will have to wait and see the other half next week first. xx

Sometimes it's good to try something different and much as I love my papers I also love an embossed card like this. Love the heart punch, I use mine far more than I ever thought I would. I love the look of white background cards .. .. I think they look so clean and fresh. Like you say it is nice not to have to keep matching papers LOL!!!
