This is a very long message so you might want a cup of tea while reading this with lots of biscuits lol!.
Well last night I was watching the tele as you do and a very strange swirly noise was coming from my laptop. Got up to have a look at it and then it went off, tried to start it again and nothing much happened. Thought it might of got a bit warm so I started it up again this morning and the same thing!!. It seems the hard drive has gone on it and it's only 6 months old grrrrrrrr, not a very happy lady :o(
Spend most of the morning making call's to Dell, they thought it might be the software!!,(idiots) so an engineer is coming out in the morning with the new parts ( so glad it's under warranty at the mo ). Then I took some photos of my cards I made last night and uploaded to my old laptop, and the piccies looked awful. I had to load them on hubby's notepad ( which has windows 7 ), to e-mail them over to my old laptop, what a palaver!! Never mind, fortunately I have this machine to use until my lovely laptop is working again. Told you it was a long message but I am soooooo cross at the mo.
So enough moaning (sorry!!), today's card is made with a lovely stamp I bought at Ally Pally at the weekend from Lili of the Valley and I used some gorgeous papers from BasicGrey

Such a lovely card Vicky. So sorry to hear about your lappy. I have just got an external hard drive & backed things up this morning for first time, it's scary how, much you have that you wouldn't wnat to lose. Hope you get it all sorted out very soon xx

I don't know wht is wrong with me either as I have woke us today in a really bad mood. Had to appologise to my lovely daughter for snapping at her, cannot work out why...Lady problems!!
This is an adorable image, did you love it at Ally Pally? I love these shows do you? But you need to rob a bank before and after, and yo don't have to worry about being pushed about a bit!!

Dont you just hate it when that happens I could have cried lost family pics, digi's, now I have an external box for saving, well worth it, your card is gorgeous love the papers and the little bear is adorable.

gorgeous card, love the colours. We bought a portable (external) hard drive earlier this year as there is such a lot of stuff on the pc and laptop. Hope you get it sorted and your pics and digi are recovered x

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your problems with your laptop - hope they've been and sorted it for you. Same thing happened to me earlier in the year. They managed to save my digis but I lost all my photos - sorry upsetting and annoying. Hope it's all put right for you :)
